Data Stream Licensing Model

The  four real-time Data Stream Management Products, StoreSync, StreamGuard, StoreAdapter and PI-Link, are licensed on a Concurrent Usage basis.  Concurrent Usage is not measured by the number of users that can use these products simultaneously, but by the number of Active Data Streams that can be handled simultaneously. An Active Data Stream is the real-time flow of data to/from a specific Wellsite location.

The WITSMLstream License Manager is notified when a Wellsite starts to generate/consume data. If there is an Active Data Stream License available in the License Pool, it will be checked out for immediate use, and only returned to the License Pool, 24 hours after the Wellsite stops generating/consuming data. Providing there is an Active Data Stream License available for use, there is no restriction under the license in the number or combination of these 4 WITSMLstream products that can be used to handle the end to end data flow.

There is a Standard Subscription available for each stage of our customers' acquisition journey: TRIAL, PROJECT, SCALE, and CORPORATE.

Bundled with each  Subscription is a Subscription for Authorised Users to access and use the WITSMLstream WorldView Portal to configure, manage and monitor the WITSMLstream products.
